Location bungalow The 8 Fazanten
Our holiday home is situated in holiday park 'De Banjaard' at the island Noord-Beveland. Here you'll find a map and driving directions.

At a distance of only a few minutes by foot you will find one of Holland's most beautiful beaches (every year listed in the top 10). The unique location of the home, between North Sea, Eastern Scheldt and Veerse Meer makes it the best spot for the discovery of the Dutch "island" province; Zeeland.


Things to do
Besides going to the beach, there are a lot of other things to do in the direct surroundings of The 8 Fazanten! You can go hiking, bicycling or visit one of the many tourist attractions in the area.

At the close by new build Holiday Park you may enjoy a swim in the heated indoor pool (small fee). Here more recreational facilities are found; tennis courts, arcade hall, bikes for rent, midget golf, children play ground, restaurant, cafeteria, bar and a mini market. For all your grocery shopping and local products (fish and mussels) you can go to Kamperland.

In spring and summer time, fairs are being held, which are certainly worth a visit. For the big-time-shopping we advise you to make a short drive to Goes or Middelburg and experience the true Zeeland life.

North Sea Beach
The number 1 summer attraction is the close by beach; 'Het Banjaardstrand'. For many years listed in the top ten most beautiful and clean beaches of The Netherlands. And the best thing: It's only a five minute walk!

Veerse Meer (Lake of Veere)
When you are a great fan of windsurfing and sailing you are certainly going to enjoy all the possibilities this lake has to offer. Only 5 minutes by bike you will find this number 1 water sport location of The Netherlands. Windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, Kayaking, kite surfing, fishing, rental boats and hiking in the surroundings are just a few examples of the endless possibilities.

Waterland Neeltje Jans
Neeltje Jans is the island where the sea, culture, nature and engineering melt together and form the setting for a special Dutch theme park. Next to the seals you and your children will enjoy the water playing ground, with waterslide. Furthermore you will experience stormy winds by a tornado wind machine or experience a flavour sensation at the oyster tasting. For more information go to www.neeltjejans.nl
